Kraftwich

Finding a place with nice ambience to enjoy a good brunch? With healthy and nutritious food? All checked at Kraftwich by Swissbake. Sandwich, pastries, salad; just name it and all is available here. At Kraftwich, you can choose from a variety of lower calorie meals which are yummy and healthy, especially good for people who are hungry but still want to “eat clean”. The Kraftwich outlet that Eat.wanders visited is located at One Raffles place. It is only crowded during lunchtime hours and after lunch hours, the crowd has eased and became a very cozy café to chill and have a good tea time. Many office workers dine in here as it is strategically located at CBD area. A perfect place to have discussion or meeting with colleagues or to just simply kill time while enjoying the good food. A rustic interior with wooden tables, warm hanging lights, bricks and illustrations; definitely one will linger a while longer over here.

The Mini Pastries Corner

Freshly made gigantic sandwiches

The good thing here is that their signature gourmet sandwiches are all under 500 kCal. Not only amazing in taste and rich in flavour but also low in calories. They are super duper huge slices like burgers, triangular cuts made of a gigantic circular piece! They even used artisanal multi-grain bread. You can choose to make your sandwich a meal with an add-on drink and soup for additional $5. Vegetables take up a huge portion of their filling, so to those that don’t eat vegetables you may not favour it, unless you’re willing to take those out by yourselves hahaha!

Tuna & Egg Kraftwich $8.90

Tuna & Egg Kraftwich. Only 481 kCal and is certified a healthier choice. Crunchy bread with cold tuna. It is super delicious and very filling! Tuna filling is served in a great big portion chunks with big cuts of boiled eggs. Definitely hearty and tasty. Their tuna is really flavourful and strong and it is definitely their in-house homemade tuna. It does not taste like processed canned tuna. There isn’t any fishy aftertaste too. The multi-grain bread is wholesome with crisp texture. Loving the bread that doesn’t taste plain and compliments well with the tuna filling. The vegetables which include lettuce and tomato slices are very fresh and crunchy too. I really love this Tuna & Egg Kraftwich personally; super yummy! This is definitely not those typical sandwiches which you can find at other places. Each bite of this sandwich was being savoured and enjoyed gracefully.

Turkey Ham & Cheese Kraftwich $8.90

Turkey Ham & Cheese Kraftwich. Wholemeal bread is definitely crunchy with generous amount of cheese and turkey ham slices. The bread itself consists the healthiest grains including wheat, soya, malt, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, rye and oats. The taste of cheese and ham with mayonnaise is distinctive and melts in my mouth. The ham is not salty too. This sandwich has a refreshing taste and quite light yet filling up your tummy to the fullest.

Paradiso Di Nocciola $5.90

Paradiso Di Nocciola, one of their top signature desserts available here. Round, glossy and elegant cake, topped with a milk chocolate coil. It tasted like Ferrero Rocher chocolate, hazelnut chocolate cake that will make you wanting for more. Sinfully delicious! The outer dome layer is made up of dark chocolate, inside filled with layers of spongey milk chocolate rocher cake and biscuit wafer, giving it crunchy bites. The sweetness of this cake is just nice, with mild sweetness. I love how this cake is just right, not too overwhelming yet super delicious and rich. Maybe those who have extreme sweet tooth may not favour this, but this is a healthier option cake and everyone of different ages will enjoy this.

All in all, I will come back here when I feel like having sandwiches for brunch or teatime. Next time I would love to try the breakfast sets that are only available till 11am like their Poached Egg & Turkey Ham Swiss Crumpet. The price of the sandwiches is also reasonable since it’s a super big piece and very filling. One piece is enough to make me feel full. The sandwiches are definitely one of a kind and have this unique signature taste. Their desserts are also tempting and good to be indulged in. Kraftwich also have 'build your own salad' with more than 30 toppings you can choose from like chicken sausage for $9.90. Kraftwich sandwich and a piece of cake is enough to complete my meal to last me the whole afternoon. Super tasty yet healthy! A good option indeed!
